Informed Protein est une certification indépendante délivrée par LGC. Elle confirme que la teneur en protéines d'un produit correspond à ce qui est indiqué sur son étiquette.
Des laboratoires accrédités testent régulièrement le produit et vérifient son profil d'acides aminés afin de détecter le « dopage aux acides aminés », pratique consistant à ajouter des acides aminés bon marché pour gonfler artificiellement le taux de protéines.
Ce label signifie que les allégations relatives aux protéines ont été vérifiées par un laboratoire externe, et non simplement déclarées par la marque.
