What is the difference between Flavored Isolate & Isolate Protein?

You’re still getting 27g of high-quality protein per serving. Instead of whey isolate, this formula uses milk protein isolate and beef protein isolate (hydrolyzed collagen peptides) to support both muscle recovery and joint health. It digests smoothly, provides a steadier release of protein, and is designed for everyday use. Whey isolate has become highly volatile and expensive. By using more stable protein sources, we’re able to maintain consistent quality while offering better value over time.

How much water should I mix it with?

We recommend mixing it with 300–400 ml of cold water for the best taste and texture.

Can I use it in recipes?

Absolutely! This product blends easily into many recipes, helping you add extra protein without compromising taste. Try it in: * Protein smoothies (with fruits and plant-based milk) * Homemade pancakes or waffles * High-protein oatmeal (or overnight oats) * No-bake energy balls * Protein yogurt or pudding Just avoid cooking it at very high heat for extended periods, as it may alter the texture.

Does Protein Timing Really Matter?

You’ve probably heard that you need to drink your protein shake immediately after your workout or you’ll miss your gains. That idea has been around for years — the famous “anabolic window.” But when you look at the research, the reality is much simpler. Large meta-analyses show that total daily protein intake is what really drives muscle growth and strength — not obsessing over exact timing. Whether you take your protein right after your workout or a bit later, your body is still able to use it effectively. Training itself keeps your muscles sensitive to protein for hours after you finish. What this means in real life is simple: If you’re not getting enough protein across your entire day, perfect timing won’t save you. 👉 Focus on consistency first. Timing comes second.

Is it good if I'm trying to lose weight?

Yes, absolutely. Our protein isolates are very low in sugar, fat, and calories, making them a great option to support your goals. They can also help curb cravings, support muscle mass, and promote recovery after training — all without adding unnecessary calories.

Does it contain lactose? If I’m intolerant, can I still take it?

This formula is very low in lactose. While whey isolate is often perceived as lactose-free, it typically contains around 0.5–1.5% lactose. By combining milk protein isolate (low lactose) with hydrolyzed collagen peptides (0% lactose), this formula contains approximately ~0.75–1.75% lactose overall — making it a very comfortable option for most people. If you are highly lactose intolerant, we recommend choosing a collagen-based or plant-based protein for maximum comfort.

Can I take it even if I don’t work out?

Yes, absolutely. Even without working out, isolate protein can be an excellent source of high-quality protein to support your daily needs. It may help: * Support muscle mass * Keep you feeling full between meals * Maintain a balanced diet — especially if your regular protein intake is low (e.g. rushed breakfast, meat-free diet, etc.) It’s a convenient option for anyone looking to eat more nutritiously, whether you’re active or not.

Why is protein evolving?

If you go back to the bodybuilding era of the 90s and early 2000s, whey protein took over because it was cheap, easy to produce, and effective. It came from cheese production, so brands could scale it quickly and position it as the go-to for muscle — that’s where the whole “whey is king” mindset came from. Over time, whey was split into concentrate and isolate, with isolate marketed as the premium option. In reality, the differences are relatively small — slightly higher protein content, lower lactose and fat — but a very similar amino profile and overall effect for most people. What’s changed today is the economics. Whey isolate is no longer cheap — it’s one of the most volatile and expensive protein sources on the market. Meanwhile, milk protein isolate is made directly from milk, not a byproduct stream, and has remained far more stable over time.

What actually matters in muscle growth?

There’s a lot of noise in the supplement world. Timing. Protein types. Leucine thresholds. But when you step back and look at the research as a whole, a clear pattern emerges: 👉 Total daily protein intake is the main driver of muscle growth and strength. Meta-analyses show that increasing protein intake supports better results — up to a point — and that differences between protein sources are often secondary when intake is sufficient. In other words: - Getting enough protein matters - Being consistent matters - Training matters Everything else is optimization. 👉 Focus on the big picture, not the details. How can the collagen in the protein help me?

Muscle Isn’t the Whole Story When people think about protein, they think about muscle. But muscle doesn’t work alone. Every movement depends on: - Tendons - Ligaments - Connective tissue These structures are what transfer force and keep you moving efficiently. Collagen is the main protein found in connective tissue, which is why it’s being studied more in the context of training and recovery. Some research suggests that collagen supplementation, combined with resistance training, may help support connective tissue remodeling and recovery. This doesn’t replace the role of complete protein for muscle — it complements it. 👉 Recovery isn’t just about building muscle. It’s about supporting the whole system. Is Whey Really the Best Protein?

Whey protein has been the gold standard in supplements for decades. Fast digestion, high leucine, strong muscle protein synthesis — it checks all the boxes. But when researchers compare different protein sources over time, the differences are much smaller than people think. When total protein intake is matched, most high-quality proteins lead to very similar results for strength and muscle gain. Your body doesn’t just respond to one specific protein — it responds to getting enough of it consistently. That doesn’t mean all proteins are identical, but it does mean the gap between them is often overestimated. 👉 The real advantage comes from consistency, not chasing a single “perfect” protein. What is INFORMED PROTEIN?

This product is certified through the INFORMED Protein program and independently tested to verify that the protein content on the label is accurate and that the amino acid profile matches the protein source used. Strict standards must be met, as certifying products requires verification of protein levels within 2% of the label claim. The INFORMED Protein certification also helps detect practices known as amino or nitrogen spiking, where lower-cost amino acids, such as glycine, are used to artificially inflate protein test results without providing the full nutritional value of real protein. The INFORMED seal represents rigorous third-party verification, including testing for nitrogen contaminants and proof of heavy metals testing, reinforcing our commitment to transparency, quality, and delivering the real protein you expect in every scoop.

I drink this for breakfast every morning, and every single day I can't believe there's no sugar in it. It's so good! If I'm using it as a formula replacement, I will also add a full scoop of good protein and double the amount of sugar-free oat milk. I cannot start my day without this! 10/10
